These terms apply to World Studio, its interactive reading environment and the digital editions offered through it.
World Studio and Gumroad
World Studio is managed by Yorick. Gumroad handles the sale, payment, tax calculation, receipts and delivery of the EPUB files. World Studio is your contact for the interactive website, your account and the connected world layer.
Your account
You sign in through a secure link sent to your email address. You are responsible for access to that email account. Using the same address for Gumroad and World Studio allows a purchase to be connected automatically.
Personal use
A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the supplied EPUB files and the connected interactive edition. You may read the book on your own devices and keep a personal backup. Public distribution, resale, systematic copying of the website or sharing account access is not allowed.
Authorship and use of AI
The concept, world, characters, storylines and final editorial choices are directed by Yorick. Generative AI has been used in writing, translation, structuring and visual development. Yorick selected, guided and edited the resulting text and imagery.
Availability and changes
World Studio may improve the interactive environment, correct errors and expand dossiers. We aim to keep paid access available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. The EPUB files delivered by Gumroad can be kept and read independently of the website.
Liability
World Studio is not liable for temporary interruptions, failures of external services or damage caused by use outside the website’s normal purpose. Nothing here excludes liability where mandatory consumer law does not permit that exclusion.
Governing law
Dutch law applies to the use of World Studio. If you live in another country as a consumer, the mandatory consumer rights of your home country continue to apply.
